ACF's NRCEC 2026 Call for Presentations

Submission Deadline: Monday, November 3, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET

The NRCEC 2026 Planning Committee invites submission of posters, paper symposia, poster symposia, and professional development sessions for potential presentation at the conference.

Submissions should highlight rigorous and cutting-edge research of relevance to young children (birth to 8 years), their families, and the programs that serve them. This includes, but is not limited to research on child development; family economic and social well-being; early childhood systems, programs, policies, and interventions; and the early childhood workforce. Accepted submissions will be presented in-person at the conference. Select sessions will also be livestreamed.

Submission formats for NRCEC 2026 include:

  • Individual Posters
     

  • Paper Symposia
     

  • Poster Symposia
     

  • *NEW* Professional Development Sessions
For additional information on the submission formats, requirements, and evaluation criteria, please review the NRCEC 2026 Call for Presentations PDF. All proposers are strongly encouraged to reference the Call for Presentations while preparing their submissions.

 

Create an Account and Start a Proposal Submission:
 

  1. Click the Create Account button below.
     

  2. Under Create New Account, enter your name, email address, password, and confirm your password.
     

  3. Click Register. You will be automatically logged into the site.
     

  4. Click the Submit a Proposal button below or from the submission dashboard screen.
     

Log In to Your Account and Start a New Proposal:
 

  1. Enter your email address and password in the left-side login box.
     

  2. Click Login. You will be directed to your submission dashboard.
     

  3. Click the Submit a Proposal button and begin entering your proposal details.
     

  4. Remember to click Save throughout your submission.
     

  5. Click Save and Submit to submit your proposal.
     

Log In to Your Account and Access Incomplete and/or Submitted Proposals, or Withdraw a Proposal:
 

  1. Enter your email address and password in the left-side login box.
     

  2. Click Login.
     

  3. Access your Submitted and Incomplete proposals from the left-side menu under your name. 
     

  4. You also can access this information from the My Account dropdown menu at the top right side of the screen.
     

  5. To edit a proposal in progress or a previously submitted proposal, click Edit. Remember to click Save and Submit to submit your proposal.
     

  6. To withdraw a submitted proposal, please email NRCEC@air.org.
